Government Proclamations

BiGAUSTIN works to maintain open and mutually strengthening relations with all levels of government. The BiG Idea Awards regularly draws a number of our government supporters such as the City of Austin and the Travis County Commisioners Court. Rick Perry, Governor of the State of Texas, was one of this year's speakers, and several City Council members were amongst the award presenters. The City issued a proclamation this year on BiG's behalf, and Governor Perry sent his greetings to all attendees:
